The 2027 dates for the Buzz Beekeeping Experience are up, and booking's open now. Eight sessions across June and July, right in the thick of the season when the colonies are busy and there's plenty going on.
What you'll be doing
We start in the bee classroom with a short introduction, then it's suits on and down to the apiary to open up a hive with me. Bee suits and veils are provided. Groups are kept small, six people at most, so there's time for all your questions and you'll get a proper look at what's happening inside.

Saturdays start at 10:30am and Sundays at 2pm. Six places on each one.
One change for 2027
Gloves. From next year we won't be providing them, so please bring your own pair of rubber washing-up gloves. Marigolds are perfect. Forgotten them? Don't worry, you can buy a pair when you arrive.
