Searching for “raw honey near me”? You’re in the right place, but there’s something worth knowing first.

“Raw honey” is a phrase lots of people search for, but in the UK it isn’t a permitted description on honey that’s for sale, so you won’t see it on our jars. What most people mean by it is honey that hasn’t been heated or heavily filtered. That’s exactly what we sell.
What you’re probably looking for
A lot of supermarket honey is blended from several countries, warmed so it pours easily and fine-filtered so it stays clear on the shelf. Ours isn’t. Every jar comes from our own hives at Staincross, near Barnsley, and it’s:
- Unheated, so the flavour and aroma stay as the bees made them
- Coarsely strained to take out the wax, with the pollen left in
- Unblended, from our own apiary rather than a mix of countries
- Traceable, with a code on the jar that shows where and when it was harvested
Because it isn’t heated or fine-filtered, it may set or go cloudy over time. That’s completely normal. Stand the jar in a bowl of warm water and it’ll loosen up again.
